    Type: Recumbent Trike

    Two-Level Fold: 1-Minute Daily, 3-Minute Travel  |  90 × 52 × 53 cm · Just 19 kg Folded  |  Rolls Like Luggage — Caster Wheels Standard  |  KS A5 Air Suspension  |  Shimano Tiagra 2×10  |  $3,099

Most folding trikes ask you to choose: fold small or ride well. The M320 refuses. It's a full-performance trike — air suspension, Shimano Tiagra 2×10, linked hydraulic disc brakes, Schwalbe road tires — that also packs down to 90 × 52 × 53 cm at 19 kg and rolls behind you like luggage on its built-in caster wheels. RV bay, car trunk, elevator, airport check-in: this is the trike that goes where trikes don't go.

The honesty up front: at $3,099 it costs $1,000 more than our M009FD, and the difference is exactly this — an aluminum frame, an air shock, and a two-level fold engineered for travel. If your trike lives in the garage and you ride from home, save the money. If your trike needs to go places, keep reading.

This Trike Is For You If…

    • You travel — RV, car trips, vacations — and the trike comes along
    • You need a compact travel fold for many car trunks: 90 × 52 × 53 cm, 19 kg. Measure your trunk opening before ordering.
    • You don't lift — you want it to roll like luggage on its own caster wheels
    • You refuse to compromise the ride: air suspension, Tiagra, hydraulic brakes

    Consider Another Model If…

    • It lives at home and budget leads → the M009 ($1,699) folds upright for storage
    • You fold often but only for larger trunks and back seats → the M009FD ($2,099) folds flat in 2 minutes, no tools, nothing removed
    • You ride sand, snow, or rough trails → look at our fat-tire models instead; the M320's Schwalbe road tires are built for pavement

M320 vs. the Other Folders — in 30 Seconds

    • M320 (this trike): the travel machine — a third of the folded volume, half the weight, rolls on casters. The price: $3,099.
    • M009FD ($2,099): the easiest fold — no tools, nothing comes off, flat in 2 minutes — but 40 kg and only fits larger trunks.
    • M009 ($1,699): the budget storage fold — stands upright in a corner, not for cars.

A Real Ride First, a Folder Second

Strip the fold away and the M320 still earns its price. The Shimano Tiagra 4700 2×10 drivetrain — 50/34T compact crank, 11–34T cassette — is road-bike hardware: low enough for loaded climbs, tall enough to hold pace on the flat. Linked hydraulic disc brakes stop the whole trike from one lever, predictably, wet or dry. And Schwalbe 20×1.35″ high-pressure road tires cut rolling resistance so the trike glides — think of swapping hiking boots for running shoes.

KS A5 Air Suspension: Tune the Ride to You

Instead of a one-rate spring, the M320 rides on a KS A5 air shock. You set the air pressure to match your weight and luggage — solo and light, or loaded for a week of touring — and the shock absorbs gravel chatter and broken pavement before it reaches you. It's the same idea as premium mountain-bike suspension, sized for a trike.

    Two Folds, Not One

The 1-Minute Daily Fold — tuck the front wheels in and the frame narrows to 136 × 45 × 53 cm: slim enough for a hallway, an elevator, or the gap beside the fridge. Nothing comes off. This is the fold you'll use every day.

The 3-Minute Travel Fold — seat off first, then the wheels, and the rear section folds in: 90 × 52 × 53 cm, roughly 248 liters — one third the volume of our other folders. This compact travel fold fits many car trunks and can be checked for air travel as oversize or sports equipment. Measure first and confirm airline requirements.

    Stop Lifting. Start Rolling.

Folded, the M320 stands on its built-in caster wheels and rolls behind you like a suitcase — standard equipment, not an accessory. Roll it into the elevator, down the hotel corridor, across the airport terminal. At 19 kg, even the lifts you can't avoid — into the trunk, up a step — are one-person jobs.

    The Honest Travel Numbers

We'd rather you know now than at check-in: folded, the M320 measures 90 + 52 + 53 = 195 cm linear, which is over the standard 158 cm airline allowance — so it flies as oversize / sports equipment, like a bike case or golf bag. Fees and rules vary by airline; email us your carrier and route and we'll tell you what to expect. By car, train, or RV, no caveats at all: it just fits.

    It Waits for You

Parking brake, standard — built into the linked hydraulic brake system, like every TrikExplor trike. Stop on a slope, lock it, swing your legs out. No rolling, no hunting for a wall.

    Fits More Riders

The frame adjusts for riders from 165 to 195 cm (5'5"–6'5"), up to a 125 kg maximum load. The 32 cm seat height sits between a chair and a low racer — easy to settle into, easy to leave.

    Want a Motor? Meet the M320E 500W

Same ride, same air suspension — plus a 500W Bafang BBS02 mid-drive motor with a 48V 20Ah battery, selectable as a variant above ($4,299). A mid-drive is different from the hub motors on our other models: it sits at the crank and works through the Tiagra gears, so the motor climbs in the right gear just like you do — steeper hills, heavier loads, better balance.

Two honest trade-offs. First: the mid motor occupies the frame joint, so the M320E keeps the 1-minute Daily Fold (136 × 45 × 53 cm) — but not the 3-minute Travel Fold. It still narrows for hallways, elevators, and most trunks with the seats down; it just doesn't shrink to suitcase size, and it's not the one to fly with. If the Travel Fold is why you're here, choose the pedal M320. Second: the motor and battery bring the trike to ≈ 24 kg (the battery clicks off in seconds and carries separately) — still rolling on the standard caster wheels.

And as always: we don't print a single range number — assist level, terrain, rider weight, and tire pressure all swing it. Tell us your weight and your typical route, and we'll give you an honest estimate.

    Assembly: Two Clicks, No Tools

Every M320 is fully assembled and road-tested at our factory before packing. We remove only the seat and the two front wheels to fit the box — and they click back on with our quick-release system. No tools, no tuning, no headache: you're riding in about the time it takes to drink a coffee.

    FAQ

Can I fly with the M320?

The pedal M320, yes — as oversize / sports equipment. Folded, it measures 195 cm linear (90+52+53), over the standard 158 cm allowance, so it checks like a bike case or golf bag. Fees and rules vary by airline — email us your carrier and route and we'll tell you what to expect before you book. The M320E doesn't fly: it doesn't fold to suitcase size, and its 960Wh lithium battery is far over the airline limit for checked or carry-on batteries.

    M320 vs. M009FD — why the $1,000 difference?

Travel engineering. The M320 is 19 kg of aluminum (vs 40 kg of steel), packs to one third the volume, rolls on caster wheels, and adds an air shock, Shimano Tiagra 2×10, and hydraulic brakes. The M009FD folds easier for daily use; the M320 goes further — any trunk, any trip, the airport.

Are the 1.35" tires too thin for rough roads?

They're road tires — brilliant on pavement, fine on hard-packed gravel paths, and the air shock absorbs what the tires don't. But honesty: if your routes are sand, snow, or rough trails, a fat-tire model is the right tool, and we'd rather tell you now.

    How hard is assembly?

The trike arrives fully assembled and tuned — we only remove the seat and two front wheels for the box. They click back on with quick releases: no tools, no tuning. You're riding in about the time it takes to drink a coffee.

Pedal or the Bafang mid motor — which should I choose?

Decide by the fold first: the pedal M320 at $3,099 keeps both folds — including the 3-minute Travel Fold that fits any trunk and flies as sports luggage. The M320E 500W at $4,299 adds the Bafang mid-drive (works through the gears — the most efficient place a motor can be) but keeps only the 1-minute Daily Fold, at ≈ 24 kg plus a click-off battery. Flying or suitcase-size packing → pedal. Hills, loads, and powered daily riding → M320E. You still pedal either way.

Does it have a parking brake?

Yes — built into the linked hydraulic brake system, standard on every TrikExplor trike.

What if I need parts or support later?

You get factory-direct support: we build the trikes, so every screw and bolt is in stock. 5-year frame warranty, 1-year on parts, and lifetime technical support from the team that assembled your trike.
